25. Jacob's rods (Genesis 30: 37 - 39)

The Starter

We often wonder if the magic wand did exist. Jacob no doubt had the most valuable magic wands, the peeled branches. They could convert all Laban's pure white flocks to speckled or spotted goats and dark-colored lambs, so that the flocks all became Jacob's wages as Laban had agreed. Moses also raised a bronze serpent on a rod, so that Israelites could look at it and be cured. The same life changing power was transferred to the wooden cross that crucified Jesus. Now, how do we look at the cross to transform our life?
